Strangely addictive Indian snacks

The other day we received a box of snacks from Howdah (http://www.howdahsnacks.co.uk/) and we weren't sure about what we saw to be honest. Pakora peanuts sounded good, but spiced banana chips!! Anyway, we got hungry and dug in and too our suprise we couldn't get enough.

The gluten free peanut pakora was the easiest sell, we love peanuts and spice and these didn't disappoint, with a crunchy coating and a fiery aftertaste. The type of snack we never thought we'd be able to have again and particularly good with a cold beer.
The banana chips we were less sure of (we tried no-flour banana pancakes the other week, having been promised they were just like normal ones - they weren't). But we liked the sound of the spices (they come in Masala flavour and Peppered flavour). On first taste you are left uncertain, the texture isn't quite what you expect - softer than a crisp but still satisfyingly crunchy. And once you've had a mouthful they become strangely addictive. The spices on both have a kick and keep you coming back for more. We love these and consider ourselves converted to banana chips, particularly the peppered flavour, which are a bit more fiery than the Masala ones.
